Support the Sandpoint Connector Project
BNSF Railway is proposing to build a second bridge over Lake Pend Oreille, adjacent to the existing rail bridge. This upgrade will reduce congestion, help move freight traffic more efficiently, and improve the flow of freight and passenger trains throughout the region.
On May 23, the Idaho Department of Lands is hosting a public hearing on the Sandpoint Junction Connector Project. Please join us for a pre-hearing gathering at 5:00 pm, May 23 at the First Baptist Church in Sandpoint to show your support for the project. Bring the family! Attendees will receive t-shirts, and food and refreshments will be provided.
