Each year, BNSF Railway helps keep communities safe by offering free training to first responders across our 32,500-mile rail network. We know that being prepared and following proper procedures are key to reducing risk, and we value the work that local fire departments, emergency managers, and emergency responders do to protect us.

This summer, we partnered with the community of Arlington, Washington, to ensure they had a solid plan and the right training in place for the unlikely event of a rail emergency. We provided hands-on training to North and South County Fire and EMS, helping them sharpen their skills to keep the community safe.
