BNSF’s Site Certification Program helps businesses set up and grow rail-served facilities, creating jobs and boosting local economies. We’ve added four new certified sites—three in Washington and one in Springfield, Missouri—giving our customers even more great options to build and expand.

“We’re excited to announce these new locations to our growing list of certified sites across BNSF’s vast network,” said Chris Danos, assistant vice president, Economic Development. “These sites enable our customers to enhance their service offerings by leveraging the benefits of rail, while significantly reducing the time it would take to construct new facilities.”

The newest Washington sites offer prime opportunities: Everett’s Smith Island Terminal, a 54-acre site near the Port of Everett with a built-in rail loop; Spokane International Airport Rail-Truck Transload Center, a 305-acre hub with room to expand; and Plymouth Industrial Site, a 1,300-acre location with excellent highway and port access. These sites are ready to help businesses get on track—literally and figuratively!
